Tim Malin is an accomplished defense litigator with over 20 years of experience representing clients locally, regionally and nationally in several areas of the law including products liability, premises liability, automobile and trucking liability, personal injury and wrongful death, construction and contractor liability, medical malpractice, and pharmaceutical liability.

Mr. Malin’s clients have included: AIG, Auto Owners Insurance Company, Apex Parks Group, National Indemnity Insurance Company, IAT, Wilshire Insurance Company, Occidental Insurance Company, VELA, Gemini Insurance Company, American Specialty Insurance Company, Fidelity Insurance Company, Stillwater Insurance Company, Housing Authority Insurance, Southern Waste Services, Berkley Mid Atlantic Group, Berkley Risk Management, Zurich, Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., The Hertz Corporation, Walgreen Company, Target Corporation, Sears Corporation, Tyco International, Inc., AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Culligan International, Unicco Service Company, Tenet Healthcare Corporation, American Medical Response, Inc., CNA Financial Corporation, and The Travelers Companies, Inc., among others.

Mr. Malin’s representative cases include: class action litigation arising out of the Gulf oil spill with potential exposure of several hundred million dollars, traumatic brain injury cases with potential multi-million dollar exposures, pharmaceutical mis-fill cases with potential multi-million dollar exposures, trucking and automobile fatality cases with potential multi-million dollar exposures, a food contamination case involving potential national recall and multi-million dollar exposure, as well as numerous products liability cases involving medical devices, commercial products, and industrial machinery with potential multi-million dollar exposures.

Mr. Malin joined the Johnson Law Group in 2011. Previously he was a senior litigation associate at Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and an associate at Peterson Bernard.

Mr. Malin earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center and his Bachelor’s degree from Villanova University. He is a member of The Florida Bar and The Federal Bar’s Southern District, Middle District, and Northern District of Florida.
